Lydia Polgreen, the deputy international editor at the New York Times, took to Twitter Saturday evening to offer her perspective on the Jill Abramson dismissal and the question of whether gender played a role. Her view is that we should all recall that there are many women in prominent roles at the Times, and they would be in open revolt if they felt this was a decision driven by sexism.
