Hillary Clinton endorsed the Obama administration’s new nuclear nonproliferation deal with Iran Tuesday in a private meeting with House Democrats.

“She applauds the effort and the result,” a source in the room said.
Clinton, whose support may help rally House Democrats to sustain the deal when it comes before Congress, also told the group that Republicans who are critical of Obama have collective amnesia about the advancement of Iran’s nuclear program during the eight years of the Bush administration.
