All the polls this year have shown California Governor Jerry Brown (D) cruising to an easy reelection win. So it’s about time for his GOP challenger Neel Kashkari — a Bush Treasury Department official who administered the TARP bailout program — to launch a desperate bid for some media attention. He’s chosen to do so via the ad below, which shows a child drowning in a pool paired with text stating Brown betrayed kids in failing schools. The child is eventually saved by Kashkari.
