Internet TV Startup Aereo Raises $34 Million

Aereo announced Tuesday it had raised $34 million in a Series C round of venture funding. Barry Diller’s IAC/InterActiveCorp led the round, and it included investment from Gordon Crawford and Himalaya Capital Management, along with participation from existing investors. The new round brings Aereo’s total amount of funds raised to more than $80 million.
