Google Combines Chrome and Android Engineering Leadership

Google’s Chrome and Android divisions are both part of a large product organization run by Sundar Pichai. Now their engineering organizations share a leader as well. Hiroshi Lockheimer, VP of engineering for Android, is now overseeing Chrome engineering too, as the Wall Street Journal first reported. Google declined to comment on the promotion.
