Apple Invites Press to October 16 Event

As expected, Apple sent press invitations to an Oct. 16 unveiling with the headline “It’s been too long.” The latest event, to launch the latest line of iPads, according to our sources, comes just weeks after introducing the iPhone 6, the Apple Watch and Apple Pay.
