Los Angeles-based Upfront Ventures said that Kara Nortman had joined the firm as a partner. The longtime Internet exec has most recently founded a startup called P.S. XO. Previous to that, she ran IAC’s Urbanspoon and Citysearch and was an adviser for its Tinder service and worked on M&A for the Barry Diller-led company. Nortman also worked as a VC at Battery Ventures.
