Sony Pictures has abandoned its highly publicized film based on the life of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Variety reported. The film adaptation of the best-selling biography “Steve Jobs” was to have been directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle. It is unclear why Sony pulled the plug on the project, which it is reportedly offering to other studios.
