Ease Entertainment Services, a maker of software for managing a studio’s payroll and controlling various aspects of a film or TV production, has received a $17 million investment from Bison Capital Partners. This marks the first outside investment for the Beverly Hills firm founded by Mike Rose, a long-time multimedia executive for the Los Angeles Times. He said the investment will allow Ease to further develop its technology.
