The best sketch on last night’s Saturday Night Live

The most talked about sketch from last night’s Saturday Night Live hosted by Amy Adams was a long, winding parody on Serial, the podcast about a 1999 murder in Baltimore. Cecily Strong played Sarah Koenig, and did a top-notch job, but it was by no means the best sketch on the show last night.

The best sketch of the night was called “Girlfriends Talk Show,” which featured two presumably high school girls talking about their lives and friends. The captain of the dance team, Amy Adams, joined to ridicule Aidy Byrant for being the fourth-alternate on the school’s dance team. The sketch is full of ridiculous humor, hysterical facial expressions, and some really bad dancing by boy-band One Direction.
