Square announced on Tuesday it will open a second office based in Santa Clara, Calif., located in Silicon Valley. The office, which will house about 50 people, will make it easier for Square employees who live in the southern part of the Bay Area to work without having to commute to the company’s San Francisco-based headquarters, where most of its 800 employees have desks. Square also has offices in New York, Tokyo, Atlanta and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.
