Target CIO Resigns in Wake of Massive Data Breach

The retailer plans to overhaul its security structure.

In the wake of a widespread credit card data breach, Target’s Chief Information Officer Beth Jacob has resigned.

In a statement released Wednesday, Target’s Chairman, President and CEO Gregg Steinhafel said the retailer is overhauling its information security and compliance structure.
