Ben Thompson’s Stratechery Expands and Goes Freemium

Ben Thompson, who has been writing the influential Stratechery blog about tech and media, is relaunching it today as an expanded freemium site that will include long twice-weekly sponsored articles that are free and several subscription options that include the ability to comment, the receipt of daily content and the opportunity to meet up with other members in person. Thompson, who until recently was working at Automattic, is also planning a podcast.
