Facebook has named John Lagerling its new vice president of business development, the company announced on Monday. Lagerling, who has spent nearly eight years at Google, most recently comes from his position as director of Android global partnerships, where he was responsible for all business development for the Nexus device program. Lagerling worked previously in business development for mobile operator NTT DoCoMo in Japan; he will work on product and mobile operator partnerships in his new role at Facebook and will report to VP of partnerships Dan Rose.
