CES Creates Formal Venue for Media, Brands, Advertisers

It’s called C Space.

Thousands of media, marketing and brand executives attend the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas — though their meetings typically happen around the edges of the giant industry trade show.

The trade organization will seek to draw this community together next year with the creation of C Space, a series of conference tracks and meetings to be held at the Aria Resort & Casino during CES week.

“C Space is designed as a networking hub and ideas center of the growing numbers of advertising, marketing and creative communities attending CES,” International CES Senior Vice President Karen Chupka said in a statement.

C Space is an extension of the existing Brand Matters and Entertainment Matters sessions, which offer a more curated look at the sprawling electronics showcase.

Chupka said C Space will provide a venue where entertainment, brand and marketing people can meet to discuss the latest digital trends and network.

The 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show will be held Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas, with registration opening on July 8.
