The music industry produces, markets, and forgets songs so quickly that it's easy to completely miss a catchy, potentially great song. This was a particularly busy week for singles, with new releases from chart-toppers Icona Pop and indie experimentalist Grimes. Here are five new tracks worth listening to:

FKA Twigs: “Two Weeks”
FKA Twigs dresses up as a golden goddess for the “Two Weeks” video she released this week. Her first album, EP2 was a mystical R&B experience, and “Two Weeks” is no different. FKA Twigs has a voice made of silk, and beats as rhythmic as they are catchy.
Icona Pop:“Get Lost”
Icona Pop is best known for their sweeping world wide smash “I Love it,“ and their new song “Get Lost” is definitely in the same vein. The song is poppy with an anthemic chorus, and decidedly unsubtle and repetitive lyrics (not that that’s necessarily a bad thing). Had this been released two months ago, it could have been a serious song-of-the-summer contender.
Ryn Weaver:“Octahate”
I’ve been listening to Ryn Weaver’s “Octahate” all week on repeat. This is Weaver’s first released song, but it rose to popularity this week after Twitter endorsements from Jessie Ware and Passion Pit. “Octahate” is the perfect blend of indie-electronica and mainstream pop. Hopefully, we’ll be hearing a lot more out of Weaver soon.
Sia:“Big Girls Cry”
Before her breakthrough this year with “Chandelier,“” Sia was best known as the songwriter behind hits like “Diamonds” and “Wild Ones.“ Her new song “Big Girls Cry” is an emotional ballad that encourages women to be honest about their feelings. “Big Girls Cry” will be on Sia’s upcoming album 1000 Forms of Fear.
Grimes: “Go”
Grimes wrote “Go” for Rihanna; when Rihanna didn’t want it, she recorded it herself. Her first song since her 2012 album Visions, “Go” is slower and features a heavier baseline than Grimes’ earlier work.
