A new report from Juniper Research forecasts blistering global adoption of 4G LTE mobile technology over the next five years, with the number of active connections crossing the one billion mark in 2017. China, Japan and India will help spur the rollout, pushing the number of users to 1.8 billion by 2019. That would amount to one in five active mobile connections.
