EA Rolls Out Monthly Subscription to Four Games on Xbox One

FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 get bundled together, with more to come.

EA said today that it had partnered with Microsoft to offer a monthly subscription to four of its games on the Xbox One.

The EA Access digital subscription includes access to FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4, “with more titles being added soon,” according to a company blog post. Additionally, full-game downloads and in-game purchases will be discounted 10 percent for subscribers on the Xbox store.

The service will launch into beta today and roll out to all Xbox One owners “soon,” and will cost $5 per month or $30 per year. A retail version will eventually be sold at Gamestop in the U.S. and EB Games in Canada.

EA has recently been on a hot streak thanks in part to the blockbuster shooter game Titanfall, released in March. Titanfall is not currently included in the subscription.
