Samsung is adding a new member to its Galaxy smartphone line, the Galaxy Alpha. The Alpha, which will start shipping to some markets in September, features a colorful metal frame (in charcoal, white, gold, silver or blue) and a 4.7-inch screen, in line with reports of the smaller of two coming iPhones. While Samsung sells lots of Galaxy models, especially globally, most other variants have been significantly below the Galaxy S line in price and features.
