Steve Ballmer, who left his post as Microsoft CEO in February, is now off of the company’s board of directors as well. “Given my confidence and the multitude of new commitments I am taking on now, I think it would be impractical for me to continue to serve on the board, and it is best for me to move off,” Ballmer told new CEO Satya Nadella in a letter the company published today. Last week, Ballmer completed his $2 billion purchase of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers.
