Bryan Cranston won the award for Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmys for his role as Walter White in the final season of Breaking Bad.

“I did happen to stumble upon finding a passion that created a seed and bloomed into something so wonderful for me,” Cranston said during his acceptance speech. “I love to act. It is a passion of mine, and I will do it until my last breath.”

Cranston also thanked his fellow actors, his wife, and his “tv wife” Anna Gunn, who also took home the Emmy for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

His competition was stiff. “This is a horrible category,” Julia Roberts joked before handing it out the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Drama. And it was. He was up against giants in the industry like Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, both from True Detective. But Cranston prevailed, winning his fourth Emmy for playing Walter.
