Square confirmed this morning that it was acquiring Caviar, a San-Francisco based company that lets customers order delivery from popular restaurants that don’t typically offer delivery. “More than 50,000 restaurants already use Square’s complete register service,” Square said. “With Caviar, we’re deepening our commitment to providing these sellers with services that make it easier for them to grow their business.” For more info on the deal, read my analysis from Sunday night.
