Re/code on TV and Radio: More iPhone 6 Edition

Team Re/code’s hits on TV and radio from last week.

Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus dominated much of the news in tech last week, and Re/code personnel were on the case, chatting about it on television.

The week started with a story by yours truly on Tuesday concerning the details of a teardown analysis of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus by the research firm IHS. Among other details, we learned that the entry-level iPhone 6 costs about $200 to build. I went on CNBC Tuesday morning to talk about it.

On Thursday, Executive Editor Walt Mossberg chatted with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell about the iPhone and the so-called Bendgate controversy that emerged after a few people claimed to have bent their phones.

More on Bendgate: On Friday, senior reviewer Lauren Goode chatted with CNBC about her tour of Apple’s usually top secret testing labs.

Finally, breaking away from the iPhone, and from TV, Eric Johnson appeared on NPR’s “Here & Now” to talk about the latest virtual reality headset from Oculus Rift, known as Crescent Bay. He describes his encounter with a virtual Tyrannosaurus rex.
