Airbnb to Hold First Open Host Conference in San Francisco

Airbnb said today it will host its equivalent of a developer conference, a three-day event called Airbnb Open, in San Francisco on November 21, 22 and 23. What’s interesting is that rather than teaching people to program for its APIs or something like that, the conference will be for and about Airbnb hosts. Also, unlike Uber, the Airbnb CEO doesn’t casually talk about replacing its hosts with robots. At least, not yet.
