Apple Hires Influential Designer Marc Newson

Even as tech watchers eagerly await the debut of Apple’s possibly-$400, probably-shipping-next-year wearable device, the bar on the next so-called “iWatch” just got raised, with the hire of famous industrial designer Marc Newson, a friend and collaborator of Apple design head Jonathan Ive, and designer of watches and many other things. Apple confirmed the hire.
