Marvel’s Ant-Man is officially getting a sequel — and he’s sharing it with the Wasp

Marvel’s Phase 3 just got even more complicated.

In its continuing bid to dominate the entire box office, Marvel has announced yet another update to “Phase 3” of its ongoing cinematic universe.

Ant-Man and the Wasp, a sequel to this year’s Ant-Man, will hit theaters on July 6, 2018. Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, has moved up to February 16, 2018. Captain Marvel, meanwhile, has moved back to March 8, 2019.

“Phase 2” ended with July’s Ant-Man. Phase 3 will kick off in 2016 with Captain America: Civil War, which pits the Avengers against one another in an all-out battle.

The most notable part of this announcement is Ant-Man and the Wasp, both because it confirms that Ant-Man did well enough to warrant a sequel, and because it confirms that it will actually follow up on its post-credits sequence, wherein Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) finally got the Wasp suit.

Marvel was quick to point out that Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the first Marvel film to be “named after its heroine,” but she’s still sharing the title with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man. Also, that honor was supposed to go to Captain Marvel, which keeps getting pushed further back with every Marvel announcement.

Marvel also announced that it will release three movies in 2020, but as of right now, they are untitled. If we were to wildly speculate and/or throw our deepest desires out there, we’d guess this slate will look something like: Ms. Marvel Takes Manhattan (May 1, 2020), Black Widow’s School for Gifted Youngsters (July 10, 2020), and 2 Groot 2 Curious (November 6, 2020).

Here is the current schedule for Marvel’s Phase 3:
