Verizon’s financial chief denied the company has any immediate plans to sell off its enterprise unit. However, it’s important to note that the company also denied it was buying AOL months before it did just that.
Verizon Denies Report It Is Selling Enterprise Business (But It Also Said It Wasn’t Buying AOL)

As for the enterprise unit sale, Reuters reported last week that the company was “exploring” a $10 billion sale of its business-focused operations, including its Terremark data center unit and the provider of landline and Internet services formerly known as MCI.
Speaking at an investor conference on Tuesday, though, Verizon CFO Fran Shammo called that report “speculation.”
“This is part of our portfolio and we will continue to support our enterprise customers,” Shammo said, according to Reuters.
Shammo also suggested that Verizon wasn’t interested in gaining access to spectrum held by Dish Network, saying that if Verizon wanted those airwaves it could have bought them itself in the recent FCC airwave auction.
