Serial’s Adnan Syed Granted Motion to Show New Evidence at Upcoming Hearing

Syed was granted an appeal earlier this year.

Adnan Syed, the subject of last year’s wildly popular podcast Serial, was just granted a motion to re-open conviction proceedings for his murder case. The motion will allow Syed to present evidence concerning his alibi and cell tower records, and brings him one step closer to potentially overturning his conviction.
