Computing and IT giant Hewlett-Packard says it has reached a deal to acquire Voltage Security, a startup based in Cupertino, Calif., devoted to encrypting data in the cloud and on mobile devices. Terms are not being disclosed. Voltage last raised funding in 2007 when it landed a $12 million D round led by Trident Capital.
