Snapchat Names Steve Horowitz New VP of Engineering

Steve Horowitz, a former engineering VP at Motorola and CTO of Coupons.com, is now VP of engineering at Snapchat, according to a company spokesperson. Snapchat appears to be building out its engineering leadership team — it already has an engineering VP in former Amazon engineering director Timothy Sehn — and Horowitz is a new piece to add to the puzzle. (He’s only been there about a month.) Another Snapchat engineering VP, Peter Magnusson, left the company last summer after a short six month stint.
