Liveblog: Ellen Pao Answers Questions From the Jury
The fifth and final day of Pao’s testimony.

Pao has appeared on the stand as a witness in her own case for most or all of every day this week. Today, she’ll be answering questions posed by the 15 jurors and alternate jurors in the case, who have proven to be astute observers in their queries for previous witnesses.
San Francisco Superior Court Judge Harold Kahn has allowed jurors in this case to ask as many questions as they like of every witness. After the questions have been reviewed by both legal teams, Kahn reads them to the jury, following up if he feels the witness hasn’t answered the question, rephrasing them to better get at what he thinks they mean, and occasionally asking follow-up questions of his own, which often serve to demystify the world of venture capital.
