‘Game of Thrones’ Stars Talk Tech, San Francisco ... And Castration

Well, we had to ask.

San Francisco enjoyed a bit of Hollywood flair Monday night.

The cast and crew of HBO’s wildly popular “Game of Thrones” series was on hand to show off the season five premiere at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco’s Civic Center, and people packed the street to catch a glimpse of their favorite warlords and murderous royalty.

It was the first time “Game of Thrones” has premiered here — perhaps HBO’s recent deal with Apple had something to do with the decision? Either way, Re/code couldn’t pass up a chance to ask the stars some of our looming questions — including a few of a more delicate nature.

You can check out what the show’s stars and creator, George R.R. Martin, had to say in the video below, along with the Starks — Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) — and the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke:
