The only limit was that it had to somehow fit in a cardboard cut-out bigger than a human head. As expected, the results from Bring Your Own Cup Day were both hilarious and disturbing.
A look on Twitter shows that people brought everything from rice cookers to a cut-open watermelon.
Of course, I didn’t want to just troll the Internet, so I did some real gumshoe reporting. (And I nearly got gum on my shoe walking a block and a half to the 7-Eleven near my house.)
Once there, I found out that the biggest vessel someone had brought into that store was a large KFC chicken bucket. I also met the nice young woman, pictured at right, with her SpongeBob SquarePants cup.
