Jack Dorsey’s mom doesn’t like his beard, so she tweeted about it

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s mother, Marcia, does not like his beard, and she is not afraid to speak truth to power:

The “lush corporate beard” (as Mashable phrased it) appeared on CNBC this morning:

It sat next to Dick Costolo, who is stepping down as CEO of Twitter:

The beard now, of course, has its own parody account (@DorseysBeard). Business Insider reports that Dorsey shot back at questions over his appearance: “People shouldn’t be measured by what they look like.”

We agree, Jack. Now go tell your mother that!
