Frank Calderoni, the former CFO of networking giant Cisco Systems, has joined software vendor Red Hat as its CFO and executive VP for operations. Calderoni had been CFO at Cisco for 10 years, starting under CEO John Chambers, who who left on Jan. 1 ahead of Chuck Robbins being named as Chambers’s replacement. Calderoni will take over for Red Hat’s current CFO, Charlie Peters, who will retire in July.
