Republicans’ approval for the Supreme Court hit a 15-year low after the court’s decisions to uphold Obamacare’s health insurance subsidies and legalize same-sex marriage in all 50 states, according to a new Gallup survey.

This is the biggest partisan divide in opinion of the Supreme Court in Gallup’s 15-year time tracking the court’s approval rating.
The finding isn’t too surprising. After both of the latest Supreme Court decisions, President Barack Obama and Democrats applauded the rulings. But Republicans, who are much more likely to oppose Obamacare and same-sex marriage, criticized them. So this is really a reflection of the political polarization that’s going on across the country on multiple issues.
