What Is Super Bowl Traffic in the City Really Going to Be Like?

The affected area will be closed beyond Super Bowl week for construction and teardown.

The SFMTA has published some cute little maps showing the city’s upcoming street and Muni closures during Super Bowl 50. Closures are confined to a few fairly compact areas downtown, which visually doesn’t look so bad at all. However, a Reddit user took it upon him or herself to adjust the map to what reality will probably look like: A layer of complete gridlock as far as the map extends.
