This leaked MacBook Pro image shows Apple Pay in action on a fancy new touchscreen

The laptop is expected to be introduced at an event on Thursday.

The latest update to the Mac operating system contained quite the Easter egg: An image of what appears to be the MacBook Pro that Apple plans to introduce on Thursday.

The laptop’s most striking feature is a small touchscreen strip that takes the place of the function keys. The leaked picture shows the small touchscreen strip in action, being used for Apple Pay.

MacRumors spotted the image inside the latest update to macOS Sierra, released on Monday.

Word of the leak comes just ahead of Apple’s quarterly earnings report, due out shortly.
