Apple is delaying the launch of its AirPods, saying it needs more time to make the wireless earbuds perfect

The company needs “a little more time.”

Apple is delaying its AirPods, saying the wireless earbuds aren’t quite ready for the masses.

“The early response to AirPods has been incredible,” Apple said in a statement. “We don’t believe in shipping a product before it’s ready, and we need a little more time before AirPods are ready for our customers.”

The wirelessly connected devices, unveiled alongside the iPhone 7 last month, were set to ship sometime this month.
