We tested out Google Home and it (kind of) answered our questions

Google Home knows a fair amount, but it can be picky about how questions are asked.

We’ve spent the last few days trying out Google Home, the search giant’s new $129 connected speaker.

To demo the new device, and answer reader questions, Recode’s Ina Fried and Meghann Farnsworth took to Facebook Live on Thursday.

In the video, you can hear Google Home answer (or not) various questions, tell jokes (badly) and give its take on the upcoming election. We also discuss what Google Home can and can’t do today and talk about where Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Apple are headed with their voice assistants.
