Amazon has been talking about delivering packages via drones for a couple of years. Now it says it is actually doing it: Amazon says it completed its first trial delivery — done without the assistance of a human pilot — last week in Cambridge, England.

We’re still a long way from this becoming something more than just a test run — but then again, this was all purely conceptual a few years ago. Now Amazon is pushing closer. If it gets there, what does that mean for the people Amazon currently pays to deliver packages to your door?
