Marc Andreessen Has Returned to Twitter

Vacation over.

Prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist and well known tweetstorm-enthusiast Marc Andreessen is back on social media after a two week “vacation” (or timeout) after some ill-advised comments about Facebook’s Free Basics service in India got him into hot water.

Andreessen told Re/code earlier this week he was taking a “soothing social media vacation.” Vacation over, apparently.

What brought Andreessen back to the service he loves? A new venture partner, Martin Casado, formerly of VMware, is joining the Andreessen Horowitz firm. Andreessen gave him a proper social media welcome.

The Twittersphere seems excited to have Andreessen back in its clutches.
