Box CEO Aaron Levie wins best reaction to today’s social media curiosity.

“I am beginning a new journey, on Instagram, to walk with you along the path of mercy and the tenderness of God,” Pope Francis tweeted today.

“Well that’s certainly one of the more baller ways to announce your Instagram account,” Levie replied.

And to the surprise of exactly no one, the pope is doing pretty darn well on Facebook’s photo-sharing app. About eight hours after His Holiness’ initial tweet, he has well over 800,000 followers.

So far, Pope Francis has posted two photos, both of him praying. His bio simply reads, “‘I want to walk with you along the way of God’s mercy and tenderness.’ (Official Account.
