Apple is delaying its earnings call for Bill Campbell’s memorial

Apple will release its second-quarter results on Tuesday.

Apple has postponed release of its second-quarter financial results to Tuesday, April 26, to allow executives and employees to attend Monday’s memorial service for former board member Bill Campbell.

The earnings were scheduled to be reported Monday, but an Apple spokesperson said the company postponed releasing the results out of respect for the friends and family of the man known throughout Silicon Valley as “Coach.”

Apple executives and employees plan to attend the service to acknowledge Campbell’s contributions to the company.
