This morning, Gizmodo dropped a report outlining how the editors of Facebook’s trending headlines widget are excluding conservative news sources.

My colleague Peter Kafka points out that this means humans are still responsible for picking the trending headlines, and that a little more bias could make Facebook’s notoriously stale trending topics a little more lively.

Funnily enough, guess what showed up as a Facebook trending headline today:
