Twitter users are reporting that Apple’s software update is rendering phones unusable.


A number of Twitter users, including reporters at CNET and the Wall Street Journal, say that installing the update left their phones unusable.
The Wall Street Journal’s Geoffrey Fowler said the update left 10 journalists there without a working phone.
An Apple representative was not immediately available for comment.
The free update, which adds improved Siri and messaging, was made available earlier Tuesday morning.
Update: Apple confirmed there was a glitch with the updating process, but says it is now fixed for those downloading iOS 10. Anyone with a problem should try connecting their device to iTunes or contact Apple’s customer support, the company said.
