The NFL’s New England Patriots and Houston Texans will kick off Week 3 of the NFL season Thursday night when they play in Foxborough at 8:25 pm ET. For the second week in a row, you’ll be able to watch the game live, for free, on Twitter.

Twitter will stream the CBS feed of the game directly to users via its mobile app and at Twitter.com. To find the game, just click on the Moments tab, where it should be listed at the top.
Twitter will also stream the game via its new set-top box apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox One. If for some odd reason you want to watch the game online but not on Twitter, you can also find it at SI.com and Time.com.
You don’t need a Twitter account to watch the game. There are other places to stream it online, including CBS- and NFL-owned properties, but those options require you to authenticate with your pay-TV provider.
Thursday is the second of 10 NFL games Twitter will ultimately stream this season. The first, a matchup between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills last Thursday, drew 2.1 million viewers. Expectations are that this game — a game featuring the Patriots, one of the most popular (and hated) teams in the NFL, and despite star quarterback Tom Brady being out due to a suspension — should perform even better. (We’ll find out Friday if that’s indeed the case!)
