The future is somewhere up there, if only someone would fund it.

Ahead of his SpaceX livestreaming event on Mars colonization, Elon Musk’s company released a video showing (best-case scenario) a rocket ship designed to deliver up to 100 people landing on Mars.

Musk is making his announcement at 2:30 pm ET (11:30 am PT) today, and you can watch live below.

The looming question is whether or not SpaceX will announce a new financial partner to help fund the ambitious interplanetary project, or if he’s still wooing investors. In any event, expect to see some big rockets this afternoon.
