What do Beyonce and Cristiano Ronaldo have in common? Other than both recently having twins, the two celebrities posted some of the most-liked pictures on Instagram this year. Yes, some. Both Beyonce and Ronaldo had multiple photos in the Top 10 list.

Beyonce, who took the No. 1 spot, and Ronaldo, at No. 2, were joined by just one other celebrity on the Top 10 list. According to Instagram’s year-end roundup, the pictures that garnered the most “Likes” belonged to Beyonce, Ronaldo or Selena Gomez.

Ironically, many of both Ronaldo’s and Beyonce’s most popular pictures were related to the aforementioned offspring. Beyonce’s most-liked image had 11,194,950 “Likes,” while Ronaldo’s had 11,060,162. While exorbitant, those “Likes” are just a fraction of the monthly active users Instagram is seeing.

As of September 2017, Instagram had 800 million monthly active users globally.

Instagram is also eating away at Snapchat’s share of new users globally, which could partly explain why Ronaldo, the Real Madrid soccer player, is so popular on the platform. When it came to sports-related pictures, those that Ronaldo posted accounted for nine out of the 10 most-popular images on Instagram.

Seriously. Here’s the list:

New to Instagram’s year-end round up is the platform’s most-watched Instagram Stories. The Facebook-owned platform launched its ephemeral Stories feature, practically a replica of those you’d find on Snapchat, in August 2016. The most-viewed Instagram Stories of 2017 were from YouTube star Lele Pons. Also making that list were Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian and Ariana Grande.
