Over time, the brand expanded its reach through deals with Target, Amazon and Jet.
In 2017, Walker & Company started down the path of offering what it hopes are better health and beauty products for women of color, too.
Form, a collection of shampoos, conditioners and lotions, launched in July with the promise that it can work for women of a wide range of hair types. And right out of the gate, Sephora agreed to carry the line, lending the kind of credibility and distribution that is rare for a startup brand.
